Exterior Painting

Exterior Painting Built for Westchester Weather

Coatings and prep work that hold up through four real seasons, not just the photos taken on estimate day.

What’s Included

What’s included.

Exterior paint fails early for one reason more than any other: not enough prep. We wash, scrape, sand, and spot-repair before a coat ever goes on, so the finish bonds to the surface instead of just sitting on top of it.

We have been doing this on Westchester County houses since 2005, which means we have painted through plenty of humid summers and wet, freezing winters. The materials and the schedule both account for that.

  • Full wash, scrape, and sand before a single coat of paint goes on.
  • Caulking and minor wood repair included where the surface needs it.
  • Weather-ready coatings built for Westchester’s seasons, not just a summer photo.
  • Siding, trim, shutters, and doors all handled by the same crew, start to finish.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

What time of year is best for exterior painting?

Spring through fall gives paint the best conditions to cure properly. We schedule around the weather and will not paint in conditions that would compromise the finish.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Clean Slate Painting & Restoration carries Westchester license WC-20945-HO8 and is fully insured on every job we take on.

Do you use low-VOC paint?

Yes, low and zero-VOC paints are our default choice, better for your family and easier to live with while the work is underway.
